In a suit process obtained by Today FM, the PDP claims the APC in Rivers state conducted its delegate congress and primaries on the 18th and 19th of May, 2022 and asked the court to nullify the processes.
The suit before Justice Stephen Daylop-Pam of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, which was adjourned for Friday, 15th July, 2022, also claimed that the APC held its National Assembly Primaries on the 19th of May contrary to INEC’S electoral guideline.
Reacting to the development in an interview with Today Fm correspondent, the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the APC, Darlington Nwauju expressed confidence that the suit is dead on arrival.
Nwauju who also stressed that the public is interested in the outcome of the matter, said the PDP shot themselves in the foot by filing the matter out of the time.
