The Nigeria Army Two Brigade in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has confirmed a raid by soldiers in Bori last Sunday.
This was made known in a statement released by the Assistant Director of Public Relations of the Brigade, ELI LAZARUS.
The statement noted that troops from the Brigade acted based on intelligence in the raid on the home of an ex-militant leader who goes by the name of General SOLO.The Army claims that the target of the raid is allegedly involved in gunrunning and kidnapping.The Two Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt enjoined all law-abiding citizens in the area to go about their lawful activities, as the military will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the protection of lives and property of all citizens in Rivers state.You will recall that the wife of SOLOMON NDIGBARA and two others were arrested by the soldiers during the raid in Yeghe community in Gokana, while a compound around Ada-George area of Port Harcourt reportedly linked to the man was also raided by troops.
