The police arrested four persons during the raid yesterday.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni who addressed newsmen at the scene of the crime said the operation was based on credible information from members of the public.
Omoni said the activities of the illegal refiners are responsible for the recent fire incidents that resulted to loss of lives and properties in parts of the state.
One of the suspects who spoke to newsmen claimed that they have a license to buy and sell the products.
