Zonal Coordinator, Uzo Onyebinama said this at a media briefing held at the University of Port Harcourt, where he blamed the federal government and Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige for the delay in school resumption.
Onyebinama expressed worries that government at all levels are gambling with the future of youths in the country as they have shown unwillingness to conclude the memorandum of understanding and action reached for the past 11 years.
Our correspondent, Sandra Kenneth reports that Chairmen of Uniport, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Niger Delta University and Federal University Otuoke were present at the briefing and demanded an apology from state governors and vice Chancellors of state owned universities who they claimed are proliferating universities without adequate funding for already established ones.
