A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the state command of NDLEA, Emmanuel Ogbumgada also disclosed that the command seized one hundred and thirty three point six zero four kilograms of hard drugs and banned substances within the year under review.
According to the statement, out of the 150 arrested drug offenders, 130 were male while 20 were female.
Ogbumgada who is an Assistant Commder of Narcotics also disclosed that the command secured the conviction of nineteen drugs offenders while twenty four drug dependents persons were rehabilitated and reunited with their family.
According to the statement, the state commander of the NDLEA, Rachel Shelling enjoined the general public to join hands with the agency to make Rivers a drug free state.
