The trend resulted in a fracas earlier yesterday due to the difficulty in differentiating the authentic government revenue agents and touts who go out of their way to extort unsuspecting members of the public.
Our correspondent FELIX OJOGWU encountered the fight between some of the taxi drivers and the men posing as government revenue collectors.
The taxi drivers thereafter called on the authorities to check the use of multiple ticket vendors otherwise they would resist payment forthwith.
There has been no reaction from authorities of the Port Harcourt City Local Government Council on the claims.
