Unknown gunmen have kidnapped one Madam MABEL ABIANTE from her residence at Ngo in Andoni Local Government area of Rivers State. Reports say over 15 heavily-armed gunmen stormed the home of the aged woman on Saturday night to carry out the act.
We gathered that Madam ABIANTE was kidnapped at about 8.50pm while watching television in her sitting room after closing from her shop. Another woman has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen around Aka road in Rumuolumeni community in Obio-Akor Local Government Area of Rivers State. Our correspondent gathered that the kidnappers abducted the woman at gun point in her shop in front of her compound. A source told our correspondent that the kidnappers forced customers inside the shop to face the ground and seized the mobile phone belonging to the woman before taking her away. The Rumuolumeni Divisional Police Headquarter is investigating the incident.
