Two female suicide bombers have been blown up in a failed mission in the Far North region of Cameroon.
Reuters international news agency reports that the bombers blew themselves up on Monday while trying to carry out attacks for the Boko Haram Islamist militant group.Local officials were quoted saying that the suicide bombing took place at the entrance of Bodo, as the two female bombers were trying to get to the market place before they were stopped by vigilantes.The latest incident happened after another bomber died and two people were wounded in a separate incident on Saturday in Tolkomari village in the Kolofata neighbourhood.
