Tobi Amusan Ready to Return at Diamond League Paris with Strong Field Ahead

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan is set to return to action at the Diamond League when she competes in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Meeting de Paris on Friday.

This appearance marks Amusan’s fourth Diamond League event of the season. She started her campaign with a fourth-place finish in Xiamen (12.74 seconds), followed by another fourth in Shaoxing (12.66 seconds). However, she bounced back strongly with a season-best and meet record time of 12.45 seconds to secure her first Diamond League victory of the year in Rabat last month.

The world record holder and 2022 world champion will face a highly competitive field in Paris, including reigning world medallist Keni Harrison, rising Jamaican star Ackera Nugent, Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska, Dutch champion Nadine Visser, Bahamas’ Devynne Charlton, and current Diamond League leader Grace Stark from the United States.
