President Bola Tinubu has expressed his desire to welcome Pope Leo XIV to Nigeria, saying he looks forward to receiving the head of the Roman Catholic Church in the country.
Tinubu made the remark while meeting with the Vatican’s diplomatic representative, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Holy See and promoting interfaith harmony.
The President also emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between Nigeria and the Vatican in advancing peace, unity, and humanitarian causes.
