This report from Syria says about four hundred people in the besieged town of Madaya are in urgent need of medical attention.
The United Nations humanitarian chief STEPHEN O’BRIEN has called for the people to be urgently evacuated for medical treatment.
The BBC quoted O’BRIEN speaking after the UN Security Council held an urgent meeting to discuss the crisis in the rebel-held town near Damascus.
The United Nations said it has received credible reports of people dying of starvation in Madaya.
