Authorities of Asari-Toru Local Government council in Rivers State are accusing the All Progressives Congress of influencing security raids that targeted PDP leaders in the area.BABO IKIRIKO who a media assistant to the Caretaker Chairman, SOBOMABO JACKRICH, confirmed the arrest of about thirty-five suspects during the raid.OKIRIKO also confirmed to our correspondent, UCHENDU EJIOWHOR, that two compounds belonging to the ASALGA CTC Chairman in Buguma and Usokun community in Degema were raided by the security operatives.However; the Secretary of the State Media Committee of the APC, GODSTIME OLUKWU, has come out to dismiss the allegation of complicity in the security raid against the party.OLUKWU urged any aggrieved person to allow the security operatives to do their job, and channel any complaint to the appropriate authorities for proper investigation.Our correspondent gathered that the suspects who were arrested during the raids are being detained by the State Criminal Investigation Department.
