The Senate has postponed the screening of the remaining eighteen ministerial nominees.
Former governor of Rivers State, ROTIMI AMAECHI was among those initially scheduled for screening today, but our correspondent reports that the screening exercise was not listed in the Senate Order Paper for today.
The Upper Chamber of the National Assembly is expected to continue with the screening on Tuesday next week.
Meanwhile; the Senate yesterday confirmed the nomination of eighteen ministerial nominees who were screened over the past two days.
The confirmed ministers include Senator UDOMA UDO-UDOMA, Doctor KAYODE FAYEMI, Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED, AMINA MOHAMMED, BABATUNDE FASHOLA and IBE KACHUKWU.
Others are Doctor CHRIS NGIGE, AISHA JUMMAI ALHASSAN, SOLOMON DALONG, and KEMI ADEOSUN.
Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI mentioned the name of each ministerial nominee before putting a question for a voice-vote.
