The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the deployment of mobile policemen around Aminigboko community in Abua-Odua Local Government Area.

The Police Public Relations Officer, AHMAD MUHAMMAD disclosed in an interview with our correspondent that a unit of mobile policemen moved into the community to calm the situation and restore order.The move followed the killing of at least three persons when unknown gunmen invaded Aminigboko community.Inhabitants of the community witnessed sporadic shooting during the invasion on Saturday night, with some houses set on fire.
Meanwhile; the police spokesman said details of casualties from violent clashes in the area have not been established.
