The assurance was given by a member of the House, ISRAEL NGBUELU, who is the Chairman of the House Committee investigating an oil spill at Emago-Kugbo community in Abua-Odual Local Government Area. Addressing newsmen after an inspection of the affected area, the member representing Bonny State Constituency, ABINYE PEPPLE, said the committee will hold a meeting with the multinational oil operating in the area and some members of the affected community. Correspondent Victor Ezeama reports that the oil spill at Emago-Kugbo damaged the ecosystem.
