A high-powered delegation from the Defence Headquarters has paid a condolence visit to the Katsina State Government over the death of retired Major General Rabe Abdullahi, assuring that those responsible for his killing will be brought to justice.
The delegation, led by the Chief Administration Officer at the Defence Headquarters, Major General I.M. Abdullahi, was received by the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, on behalf of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and the people of the state.
Speaking during the visit, Major General Abdullahi said the team was in Katsina to convey the condolences of the Defence Headquarters and the Armed Forces of Nigeria over the loss of the retired senior military officer, who was reportedly killed by bandits.
He assured the state government that security agencies were intensifying efforts to track down and prosecute those behind the attack, reaffirming the commitment of the Armed Forces to protecting lives and tackling insecurity across the country.
