The Rivers state Government is considering an appropriate amendment to the High Court Suit Procedure Rules of 2010.

 The Rivers state Government is considering an appropriate amendment to the High Court Suit Procedure Rules of 2010. State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, EMMA AGUMA, made the disclosure at an event in Port Harcourt. AGUMA said the High Court Suit Procedure rules which is currently being used in Lagos is a multi-door system that will enable Judges of the High Court the consent for quick dispensation of justice. The Rivers State Attorney General also expressed commitment of the state government to the protection of the rights of children, adding that Family Courts would be set-up in line with Child Rights Act of 2009.
