The Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State has accused the All Progressives Congress of breach of security in the state, which it described as treasonable.State PDP Chairman, FELIX OBUAH, said the leaders of the APC procession in Port Harcourt yesterday should be arrested.
In a statement by his media assistant, OBUAH said the Rivers Black Day event amounts to a demonstration of impunity, and inciting the people against the constituted authorities of the State.The PDP recalled that the Rivers State government had in collaboration with the State security agencies, placed a ban on all forms of public protest.The PDP Chairman also took exception to alleged reference to DAKUKU PETERSIDE as governor by speakers at the event.
FELIX OBUAH said it was treasonable for the APC governorship candidate to be addressed as a governor, and that those responsible should be investigated and arrested.
