The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved a time-table for a series of events leading up to the 2016 National Convention of the party. This was contained in a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief OLISA METUH, base on the approval of the National Working Committee. The series of events would begin with Ward Congresses on Saturday, 27th of February, followed by Local Government Congresses on Saturday, 5th of March next year. PDP State Congresses will take place on Saturday, 12th of March; Zonal Congresses on Wednesday, 16th of March, while the National Convention will hold on Saturday, 19th of March.
