The Independent National Electoral Commission has postponed the re-run state and national assembly elections across Rivers State.The transfer Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, GHESILA KHAN, had before her exit last week, announced that the re-run had been tentatively fixed for Saturday this week, being 6th of February.But after a meeting in Abuja between INEC leadership and political stakeholders yesterday, the electoral body has announced that the re-run polls will now hold on 19th of March.The decision was confirmed by the Information Officer at Rivers State secretariat of INEC in Port Harcourt.
