Ivory Coast have been knocked out of the ongoing FIFA World Cup after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Norway in the Round of 32.
The Elephants bowed out of the tournament after Erling Haaland scored a dramatic 86th-minute winner to hand Norway their first-ever victory in a FIFA World Cup knockout match.
The closely contested encounter saw both sides create several scoring opportunities before Haaland’s late strike sealed Norway’s place in the Round of 16.
With the victory, Norway advances to face Brazil in what promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the last 16 as the tournament continues.
