The FCT Resident Electoral Commissioner, JACOB JATAU said the new date would enable the completion of chairmanship elections in areas where elections were cancelled.It could be recalled that INEC had declared elections in Kuje, Abuja Municipal, Gwagwalada and Abaji Area Councils to be inconclusive.
Reports said results in the affected polling units were cancelled for reasons ranging from violence, over voting and non-use of Smart Card Readers and accreditation of voters.
