The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced a five-day Continuous Voters Registration in six Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced a five-day Continuous Voters Registration in six Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory.
The exercise which started yesterday, will last through Sunday, the 17th of January, ahead of the FCT Area Council elections on 19th of March.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the FCT, JACOB JATUH said that the Commission has approved five Direct Data Capture Machines for each ward to ensure smooth conduct of the exercise.JATUH also called for the support of stakeholders to ensure success of the exercise, adding that technical members of staff have been deployed to rectify and resolve any technical challenge that may arise.
