The Federal Government has paid each member of Nigeria’s D’Tigress the naira equivalent of 100-thousand dollars as part of the reward for winning the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship. The Presidency confirmed the payment, saying the cash reward formed part of the package announced by President Bola Tinubu after the team’s victory in Côte d’Ivoire.
