LAMIDO is accused of inciting his supporters to disrupt the local government elections in the state in July.
The former governor was subsequently remanded in prison custody until Thursday when the Jigawa Magistrate Court would rule on his application for bail.
He was arrested on Sunday after police raided his residence in Kano, while his country home in Jigawa was also searched by detectives.
