Tanzanian head of football Association arrested on charges of corruption
This report from Tanzania says the President of the country’s Football Federation, JAMAL MALINZI, has been arrested on suspicion of corruption.
MALINZI was detained by the Tanzania’s Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau along with the Secretary General of the federation, SELESTINE MWESIGWA.
Both men were detained and questioned after a lengthy investigation by the bureau, but details of the specific allegations are yet to be made public.
