The respondents said noise and gas emission in the city are becoming unbearable for them, and appealed to the Rivers State Government to intervene.
They want the state government to enact laws to check business activities that contribute to pollute the environment and through dangerous gas and noise emission.Responding to the call in an interview with our correspondent, UCHENDU EJIOWHOR, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Pollution, NWUKE ANUCHA said the right laws would be enforced to check environmental pollution.
