The President of the Nigerian Senate, BUKOLA SARAKI, who dropped this hint against the backdrop of the rising tensions in the polity, said the Senate would devote the remaining twenty-two months to the end of the tenure of the Eight National Assembly to dousing the tension in the country.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, YUSUPH OLANIYONU, Senator SARAKI stated that the Senate was ready to give the Hate Speech Bill accelerated consideration when it is presented by the Executive.
