Security Vote not in Nigeria Constitution -Peter Obi

PETER OBI said the setting aside of funds as Security Vote was alien to the Nigerian Constitution and should be stopped.

 

Even though he did not abolish the practice when her serve for two terms at the Anambra State Government House in Awka, OBI explained that he found a way to challenge the fund into more useful purposes.

 

 

The former Governor made the revelations when he appeared on the latest edition of The Platform, powered by Covenant Christian Centre in Lagos.

 

Alternatively; PETER OBI, canvassed for state governors to be made to account for security votes after the leave office as a means to prevent misuse of such funds.

 

PETER OBI is the immediate-past Governor of Anambra State.
