The promise is in reaction to the recent criminal activities within the Illobuchi-Eagle Island axis of the Diobu, including the killing of two police officers whose killerS fled through the water ways.
The Chairman of Diobu Vigilante Group, VICTOR OHAJI and some members of his executive gave the assurance during a familiarization visit to the office of the Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Council, VICTOR IHUNWO.
OHAJI and other respondents however commended the council chairman for his support in the area of security but requested for more collaboration with the council and security agencies.
In his response, the PHALGA Chairman, VICTOR IHUNWO advised members of the Diobu Vigilante group not to be biased in assisting the security agencies in the fight against insecurity in the area.
