Security continues to build up in Bayelsa State, ahead of the governorship election tomorrow. Our correspondent who visited the state capital yesterday, reports that truck loads of security operatives have been arriving in the state. Combat-ready troops were seen complementing the police and other paramilitary personnel to ensure adequate security in parts of the state. Several checking points have also been mounted along the main artery road into Bayelsa, with soldiers and policemen conducting thorough search on vehicles entering or leaving the state.  The main contenders in the election on Saturday include the incumbent Governor, SERIAKE DICKSON who is seeking term on the platform of the PDP. Governor DICKSON is facing a stiff challenge from former governor TIMIPRE SYLVA who is the candidate of APC.
