Security agencies have been advised to carryout proper investigations before going for the arrest of suspects.
The advice was given against the backdrop of the raids on suspected black spots and criminal hideouts in parts of Rivers State.
A security consultant, CHINEDU OHWONDA who is a retired Colonel of the Nigerian Army, condemned the invasion of the homes of some individuals in the cause of the raids.OHWONDA warned that such action constitute to an infringement on the fundamental human rights of the victims.
Speaking in an interview with correspondent JUDITH OKAFOR, the retired Colonel said the Nigerian army should have first invited the targeted individuals before embarking on the raids if they failed to respond.
