RIWAMA Begins Contractor Verification to Improve Waste Collection in Rivers State

The Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) says the ongoing verification exercise for its contractors is aimed at identifying and confirming areas designated for waste collection across the state.

Managing Director of RIWAMA, Ibimina Wokoma, disclosed this during an interview with our correspondent.

He explained that the verification process will enable the agency to operate more efficiently and ensure better coordination in waste management activities.

Wokoma added that contractors who fail to complete the verification exercise will face appropriate sanctions, stressing that the agency is determined to improve service delivery and maintain a cleaner environment in Rivers State.
