The State Secretary to Nigeria Hotel Association, Napoleon Koko who was reacting to the threat by the state government to re-impose COVID-19 lockdown, said all their members have been directed to ensure full compliance to COVID-19 protocols.
Koko while warning that any hospitality industry that fails to comply with the directives risks facing appropriate sanctions from relevant authorities, saying the industry would not afford to experience another lockdown.
Reacting to the court judgment in favor of Rivers State Government on who is authorized to collect Value Added Tax in the state, KOKO said their members have been directed to comply with the court order in the interest of development of the state.
