Rivers FRC command impound 2600 vehicles for non installation of speed limit device.

The FRSC Sector Commander, ANDREW KUMAKPAYI made the revelation at the flag-off of a health programme for tanker drivers in the state.

KUMAKPAYI also disclosed that the compliance level of commercial motorists to the Speed Limiting Device was encouraging.

Also speaking; the State Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Doctor DATONYE ALASIA who was represented by Doctor EJELE IRABOR, advised drivers to always go for medical checkup to know their health status.

The medical doctor said it had been observed that most road accidents are usually caused by failing health conditions of drivers.
