The enforcement exercise which commenced from the ever busy Mile one market stretching to Agip roundabout is expected to cover the nooks and crannies of the state beginning with Port Harcourt
Addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Acting Managing Director of RISAA, and CHUKWUDI DIMKPA reiterated the Agency’s commitment to ensuring safety, sanity, order and professionalism for all stakeholders in the state
He stated that the enforcement exercise will involve removal of illegal structures, dilapidated and fallen billboards so as to rid the state of unauthorized and dangerous structures posing as threats to lives and property.
The Agency advised owners of billboards, corporate and business organizations with signage structures in their business premises that are yet to pay for advertisement fees and levies on signage, Billboards, mobile adverts and branded vehicles to do so immediately to avoid sanctions and disruption of their operations.
