The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights and Democracy has accused the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas, of deceiving the public with endless promises.
The group’s National Legal Adviser, Henry Ekine, said the administrator’s repeated assurances to revive the Songhai farm and complete other projects initiated by the suspended governor were a cover-up for unaccounted spending.
Ekine maintained that the promises were fake and intended to distract Rivers people from demanding transparency and accountability.
