Lecturer Faults Rivers Sole Administrator Over ₦5bn Savings Claim

A university lecturer, Dr. Hope Barango-Tariah, has criticized the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas, for claiming he saved ₦5 billion from the ongoing staff verification exercise.

Dr. Barango-Tariah described the remarks as a face-saving tactic after what he termed a poor administration in the administrator’s nearly six months in office.

He insisted that Rivers people deserve accountability from the Sole Administrator and argued that he still has more questions to answer from the public regarding his stewardship.
