The Economic Recovery and Growth Plan provides an inclusive plan for agriculture and food security, energy and transport infrastructure, as well as industrialization and social investments.
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI presided over the ceremony for the formal launch and unveiling of the policy document before members of the Federal Executive Council at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
President BUHARI said the plan sets out an ambitious roadmap to achieve seven percent growth by the year 2020.
BUHARI assured Nigerians that his administration was working to solve the prevailing economic challenges the same way it has been going about in the fight against corruption, terrorism and militancy.
The President also challenged state governments to replicate the vision of the plan in articulating their own economic programmes.
