The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has called on residents of Rivers State who are disillusioned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join its fold in a bid to foster meaningful development.
Speaking during the inauguration of the party’s secretariat in Port Harcourt, PRP National Chairman, Falalu Bello—represented by the National Secretary, Babatunde Ali—urged Rivers people to align with the party’s vision of driving mechanized agriculture and infrastructural progress in the state.
On his part, PRP Rivers State Chairman, Nature Dumale Kieghe, emphasized that the party is determined to redeem the state from what he described as a legacy of deceit and broken campaign promises by the dominant political parties.
Kieghe also clarified that PRP is not part of the newly formed political coalition in the state. The event was marked by the defection of several politicians into the PRP.
