President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has approved the appointment of eighteen new permanent secretaries for federal ministries and agencies. A statement released by the Presidency also confirmed a directive by President BUHARI for the deployment of thirty-six permanent secretaries to various ministries, departments and agencies of the federal government.
They include WAKAMA BELEMA ASIFIEKA who is among the new Permanent Secretaries, and has been deployed to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs. The statement noted that the new appointment and deployments take effect immediately.
