President BUHARI made the remark while emphasizing on the importance of the, NYSC scheme.
He said some persons who live in Victoria Island have Never visited Ikeja in Lagos, but with the help of the scheme can now visit other parts of the country.
In a statement by FEMI ADESINA, President BUHARI’s spokesman, the President noted that the scheme has made the youth understand other cultures, as it gives opportunity to Nigerian youths to explore the country.
The corps members, who were led by SUNDAY DARE, minister of youth and sports development, and IBRAHIM SHEHU, Director-General of the NYSC, went on a visit to thank the President for increasing their monthly allowance from nineteen thousand eight hundred to thirty three thousand naira.
