The Director-General of Rivers Solidarity for Good Governance, Comrade Opu-Oyibo Lilly-West, has expressed concern over what he described as the dwindling fortunes of Rivers State amid the prolonged political crisis.
Speaking during an interview in Port Harcourt, Lilly-West said the continuous political tension has negatively affected governance in the state, noting that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has become “the most insulted and distracted governor in the country.”
Despite the distractions, the Director-General commended Governor Fubara for remaining focused on governance, stating that the governor has continued to deliver meaningful development projects across Rivers State in the face of sustained political pressure.
