Osaiah, who was attached to Rivers State Taskforce on Street Trading and Illegal Motor Parks is alleged to have shot dead, Sergeant Lovenda Elekwachi at her duty post at Eneka roundabout in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
Our correspondent Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that Chief Magistrate I.F Iyiabo however declined jurisdiction to hear the matter and could not allow the charge to be read.
The Chief Magistrate thereafter ordered that the suspect be remanded in the custody of State Criminal Investigation Department, while asking that the case file be transmitted to Department of Public Prosecution, for advice and then adjourned till 26th of May for mention.
