The state Secretary of PETROAN, Ejike Nnabuihe, in an interview with Today FM’s Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe, however, explained that the reason for the long queues that portray scarcity, is as a result of disruption in the supply chain.
He stated that one of the depots complementing the only LPG terminal in the state was shut down by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, following a fire incident.
The state Secretary of PETROAN called on members of the public not to panic as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has intervened in the situation.
