The Ondo State Police Command has arrested more than 13 suspects linked to various criminal activities, recovering items valued at approximately N3.67 million during recent operations across the state.
Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, disclosed this while briefing journalists at the Command Headquarters in Akure, the state capital.
According to Lawal, the suspects were apprehended for offences including cultism, armed robbery, kidnapping, fraud, burglary, stealing, and the receipt of stolen livestock. He noted that the arrests were made through coordinated intelligence-driven efforts aimed at enhancing public safety and curbing crime in the state.
The Commissioner assured residents of the Command’s continued commitment to tackling criminal activities and maintaining peace and security across Ondo State.
