Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to prove its credibility as the Anambra governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025 approaches.
In a post shared on his X handle, Atiku noted that the election presents an opportunity for the commission to restore confidence in Nigeria’s electoral system amid recurring allegations of bias. He urged INEC to conduct a transparent, credible, and fair process that reflects the true will of the people.
Atiku also declared his support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Nwosu Chuma, expressing confidence in his candidacy and calling on voters to make a choice that advances good governance in the state.
