In a joint statement to mark one year after the flag-off of the exercise; the groups noted that only one percent of the necessary funds have been provided for the exercise.
They observed that alternative sources of safe drinking water have not been provided for some of the communities that had their water wells contaminated.
The groups want government to immediately deliver on emergency and priority measures outlined in the UNEP report.
