The State Commandant of NSCDC, Basil Igwebueze who paraded the suspects at the command headquarters disclosed that the command also recovered five vehicles including a commercial bus with thirty-six thousand, nine hundred and fifty liters of AGO and fifty-one thousand, two hundred liters of crude oil.
He said the achievement is an affirmation that there has been a change of battle in the state and that it is no more business as usual, warning that individuals involved in activities threatening the economic reality of the country will be made to face the law.
Igwebueze, who further warned that personnel of the command caught aiding and abetting oil theft would be dealt with, expressed readiness of the command to collaborate with other sisters agencies in combating crime and criminality in the state.
The Commandant of NSCDC, while commending the Commandant general of NSCDC, also revealed that he has been directed to ensure that private guard companies must be registered or risk being shut down.
