The General Officer Commanding Eighty-Two Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu, IBRAHIM ATTAHIRU also said fifty-five assorted weapons were recovered from the militants, and thirty-eight camps destroyed.
He added that ninety-one illegal refineries were destroyed and many of the suspects fled with various degrees of injury.
The Army Officer, however, expressed regret that four soldiers died during the exercise, including three who lost their lives in a boat accident, while one died in crossfire with the militants.
